Max Jahufer Rodgers

A proud trans man, multifaceted artist, writer, actor, singer, and the director and co-founder of both Roaring Tribe, a production and advisory company based in Queensland and Victoria, and FutureStudio, a creative digital agency. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Max carries a rich cultural heritage from his Sri Lankan father and Portuguese mother, which deeply influences his artistic perspective and storytelling.

In 2010, Max completed a Master of Architecture at RMIT, blending his technical expertise with a passion for writing and performing. This unique intersection has fuelled his creative expression across various dimensions of storytelling. His love for writing was reignited in 2022 when he co-wrote and produced the feature film A Savage Christmas, marking his acting debut as the lead character, Kane. Committed to authentic representation, Max ensured the trans voice was accurately portrayed, earning the film a 2024 AACTA nomination for Best Indie Feature Film.

In late 2024, Max secured early-stage development funding from Screen Queensland for the biopic TV series based on his life, Boy, I Am. The series, an exploration of identity, resilience, and transformation, is now in search of production and distribution partners across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets.

Daniel Mulvihill

Completed co-writing and producing the 6x10min online series 'Sexy Herpes', funded with the assistance of Screen Australia. 'Sexy Herpes' has been acquired by Channel 9 Sexy Herpes was sold as a format sale overseas to a French-Canadian production company – where it went on to be adapted into a successful long-form TV comedy, ‘Sans Rendez-Vous’. In 2019, when ‘Monsters of Many Worlds’, was released on SBS via an initiative in collab with Screen Queensland. Dan co-wrote and produced his debut feature film, 'A Savage Christmas', in cinemas and on Binge in late 2023, and went on to be nominated for the AACTA award for Best Indie Feature.

Blood Sisters feature is the follow- up film where he is co-writer/co-producer and it is scheduled for production in late 2025. In early development, he has live-action TV Series, ‘Boy, I Am’, and in the animated space, ‘The Boy From The Sea’. Dan remains a staunch advocate for disability visibility within the Film and TV sector, actively seeking ways to incorporate his tribe into all ATL and BTL roles on all his projects. Dan was also invited as a juror for the International Emmy Awards semi-finals in Montreal in August 2024.
